JOIN A TEAM

The Alpha team invites you to participate in one of 2 areas. The first area is in helping to make Alpha a red carpet experience for the guests. This involves either cooking or serving the food/drinks. The second area is in helping to run the course itself. This will usually be hosting a discussion group and sometimes giving one of the talks. Hosting is great fun as you meet a diverse group of people from many walks of life. You don’t have to have all the answers to people’s questions, (who does?!) but you do have to be able to listen to people's opinions respectfully and facilitate a good old discussion. If you love serving and being a part of leading people to Jesus then the Alpha team is perfect for you.

For people who love connecting with new people, linking them up with others, playing a huge role in the environment everyone experiences at our events and making sure everyone has a nice hot cup of coffee and a tasty treat.

Do you play an instrument well or sing in tune? Do you have a heart for serving the church and playing as part of a band? Do you love Jesus and want to see him glorified in our singing? Then this team is for you!

A team we train on a range of audio, lighting and visual technology, enhancing the worship and church experience, ensuring the smooth-running, accessibility and excellence of our Sunday gatherings, online services and other events.

We have a number of age-appropriate groups running every Sunday and at special events — from babies through to Year 6. Our kids leaders have an absolute blast as they invest in our children and help them engage with God’s word and His promises for them through all sorts of videos, games, music and stories.

Our youth are 11-18 years of age and meet every Friday night during term time as well as alternate Sundays during the service. Redeemer youth is serious about two things Jesus and fun! This team runs Friday nights, Sunday mornings and arranges other special events throughout the year such as Newday.

The Hope team are looking for people to join with this initiative! The team helps to coordinate donations of specific items to distribute directly to families and individuals or via local organisations helping those who are: seeking refuge from domestic violence; asylum seeking families that have arrived in the city; or local people in desperate need for basic food items. We meet quarterly for co-ordination and envisioning meetings (normally over breakfast together!). There are a variety of volunteering tasks such as communicating donation appeals to the Church, collecting and distributing the donated items (including befriending families and individuals in need) and maintaining our store at the Church building.
